We are currently inviting applications for enthusiastic, self-motivated and driven individuals to join our Member and Guest Services Team.
The Member and Guest Services Team play a very important part of our overall team as the first and last point of contact for Members and Guests when on the Archerfield Estate.
As a member of the team, you will be required to provide a warm welcome to all Members and Guests when arriving at Archerfield, ensuring that they enjoy their experience on the Estate.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
– Ensure that all Members and Guests receive a warm welcome to the Club.
– Send pre-arrival emails to guests on a daily basis.
– Be the main point of contact for all guests who are staying in the accommodation.
– Work closely with the Estate Sales and operational teams to meet and exceed guest requirements.
– Keep up to date with Estate and local area knowledge to ensure you are able to advise Members and Guests and maximise sales opportunities.
– Assist in providing any onsite transport for guests staying in accommodation,
– Anticipate any guest requirements where possible to help ensure an enjoyable stay.
Requirements for the role:
– Previous experience within a customer facing role – preferably within hospitality or the luxury sector.
– Good telephone manner and IT Skills.
– High standard of personal presentation.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a confident and outgoing personality and an ability to interact with people at all levels.
– Ability to take initiative and a practical approach to problem solving.
– A passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
– Ability to work in a high paced environment and able to prioritise tasks to meet the desired outcome.

Join our Food and Beverage Team
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated Inventory Operative to join our team and help support both the department in receiving, distribution and general monitoring of stock across the Estate.
What you’ll be doing in this role:
– Accurate receiving of food, beverage, and consumable orders on a daily basis.
– Delivering in physically and digitally via our F&B inventory control platform.
– Maintaining that all orders are put away and stored securely in the correct areas of the building.
– Ensuring accurate and timely delivery of items across the Estate.
– Maintaining a clean and safe cellar workspace including cleaning beer lines and managing stock rotation.
– Promptly highlighting and responding to supplier queries and resolving any delivery anomalies that occur.
– Ensuring all room gifts and pre-prepared food is delivered into properties.

We have both part-time and full-time opportunities, with flexible working hours. Due to the nature of the business will involve some weekend and evening working.
What you’ll be doing in this role:
– Supporting our team of chefs, you’ll ensure all cleaning routines are completed efficiently and professionally throughout our kitchen.
– Making sure all crockery, cutlery and glassware are clean and pristine before reaching our Members and guests, with outstanding attention to detail.
– Clean food preparation areas, equipment and keeping the Kitchen Porter area organised.
– Keeping work surfaces, walls, and floors clean and sanitised.
– To be aware of emergency, safety and first aid procedures and to report all accidents to the duty manager.
Who are we looking for:
– No previous experience required.
– Ideally having a sound knowledge of hospitality industry kitchens.
– Excellent time keeping skills and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
– Flexible approach, with ability for evening and weekend work, as necessary.

Join our Golf Team
We are currently looking for a self-motivated, organised and well-presented individual to join our team as a Starter and Course Ranger.
The position of Starter and Course Ranger is viewed as an integral part of the Golf Operation structure. The aim is to provide our Members and Guests the best possible service standard when embarking on and during their round of golf.
This is a temporary position to cover the busy golfing season at Archerfield. Hours will be as per the seasonal rota and will require working weekends.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
– Providing a warm welcome to the Club for Members and Guests.
– Ensuring tee times are managed effectively and all relevant course information is provided to golfers.
– Maintaining control of the orderly flow of golfers through our two courses and resolving pace of play issues.
– Engaging with colleagues to deliver a joined-up and high-quality service to all golfers.
